July 2025 · The First Encounter

On 09.07.25, a signature — and years of waiting finally behind me. Selene becomes mine: this is where the project begins. What follows is the complete documentation of the journey, starting with the Bill of Sale. The first gallery shows the true condition of Selene before our meeting.

July · August · September 2025 — Shipyard in Vlicho · Lefkada

A gallery documenting Selene’s slow transformation after work on: paints, stainless steel, aluminium, electrical systems — the essentials, done well.

Late September · Early October — Exterior refit (final phase)

Real images showing the condition of Selene after the final interventions: paints, stainless steel, onboard systems — the essentials, executed properly as always.

9 July 2025 · Lefkada — Purchase of Selene. From 10.07 the shipyard work begins: three and a half months condensed into 100 images. The metamorphosis.

11 October 2025 · Lefkada — Launch day. Gentle wind, crew of one: Tiziano. It’s not an arrival — it’s the real beginning.

13–17 October 2025 · Sea trials — Four days between Nidri, Meganisi and Fiscardo. A night of heavy rain at anchor, phones failing, improvised repairs, a return to Nidri. The stages and lessons of those days are gathered in the logbook.

21 October 2025 · Journey to Athens — Departure at dawn. What remains in the diary: wind, work, and sea.

Athens – background

Athens at dawn — waiting for the return

Eight frames captured in the heart of Kypseli. A deep sky, rooftops slowly lighting up, a city waking from the inside while the mind is already sailing back to Lefkada.

After six years of city life, these images mark the last page on land before returning to the islands. A bridge between concrete and sea.

From this Athenian terrace, the journey turns back to Lefkada and begins again at sea: A full day of sailing through the Prince’s Islands.
